● HW 30 S, 50 S, 80, 85, 95, 98 and 99: With one hand please hold the stock by the pistol

grip. Release the locking with the other hand and pull the barrel from the locking position downward

until you will hear the catch of the trigger mechanism and the safety bar will come out (see

”Inserting a pellet“ p.27/”Safety“ p.29).

● HW 57, 77 and 97 K: With one hand please hold the stock by the pistol grip. Release the

locking with the other hand and pull the cocking barrel from the locking position (front sight base)

downward until you will hear the catch of the trigger mechanism and the safety bar will come

out (see ”Inserting a pellet“ p.27/”Safety“ p.29).

Firmly restrain the barrel / cocking barrel with this hand during the loading procedure.

Insert the Diabolo pellet into the chamber (see ”Inserting a pellet“ p.27). It has to occlude well at the

end of the barrel / loading gate (HW 57 only).

Turn back the barrel / cocking barrel in its original position and check that it is closed perfectly. Press

the loading gate downward against stop (HW 57 only).

Attention: The gun is

now l

oaded and ready to fire!

Before shooting press in the safety bar (see ”Safety“ p.29/”Aiming“ p. 30).

● To uncock a cocked and empty air rifle (no pellet inserted), close the barrel / cocking bar-

rel, firmly depress muzzle opening against a soft pad (carpet, cardboard) and discharge it.

● If you have already loaded a pellet, you have to direct the muzzle into a safe pellet trap, aim

and discharge it.

Adjustment of

the trigger weight

Your air rifle is equipped with the precision match trigger ”Record“.

We recommmend that you leave the trigger settings as they come from our factory or take it to a

qualified airgunsmith for adjustment. Improper adjustments can make the airgun unsafe.

Warning: Modification of the gun mechanism may cause a gun to malfunction; and

tampering with a gun may make it unsafe to use.

For adjustment of the trigger weight see page 29.

Always check that the gun is unloaded and uncocked before you start to clean and to take care of

your gun.

A gun does not work properly is dangerous. Do-it-yourself repairs are difficult.

Never dismantle the air rifle or never do a repair on the action yourself. The interior of the air rifle

is under pressure. Only a skilled gunsmith may open it. Improper handling, disassembly or

assembly can lead to dangerous malfunctions and can cause personal injury or damage to the gun.

In case of functional failure it is necessary to have the air gun checked and repaired by this specialist

or to return it to us. This applies especially to changing the piston washer and the mainspring. Use

only original Weihrauch spare parts.

Clean your air gun regularly: You should always take care for and maintain the air gun properly.

Only in this way your air gun can perform and give you the desired success. If you have any

questions or doubts please contact somebody qualified like e.g. your gun dealer/gunsmith or direct-

ly us. After use and before longer storage all metal parts should be lubricated with a special gun oil

to prevent rust and to keep your air gun in good condition. The barrel hinges should be slightly oiled

at regular intervals. The lubrication of your system (piston, piston seal, main spring) was already

applied during asse

spring have to be exchanged.
